Be-holding Dad

The cliché goes
That the bigger the man is, the harder
he falls.
The louder the sound when someone is
knocked over
when his supports are taken away and no one can
catch him.
The cliché goes
That if a tree falls and no one can hear it, it makes
no sound.
There is no one to prove the
silence.
But if a man falls and no one can
hear him
Can he still hear himself?
