Papa gambled well and gambled oft;
He’d beat his friends on any given day.
Knew the tricks to betting hard and soft,
And always knew the time to walk away.
Las Vegas poker seemed like it’d be next,
My Dad bet more than max without unease.
Four twos can’t be topped so fast unless
Another guy is holding pairs of threes.
My Daddy knew that he was very beat
Cause you can’t walk away with broken feet.
