Girlfriend – what is that?
So unspecific. Girl friend?
Don’t I have more than one girl friend?
Maybe the difference is in saying “my.â€
To be possessive.
To own. To refuse to let go.
But is it ownership?
Or partnership?
At times, both.
At times, neither.
Do I have time at all?
When two different people
With two different lives
And two different needs
Can prove they are not too different at all
There is time enough for anything.
How do you refuse a miracle?
How do you tell God you just don’t have time for him to make your life better?
How do you say anything?
Girlfriend? Girl friend?
What is it that is so intangible about that one space?
The joining of two words, meaning nothing.
The joining of two worlds meaning everything.
She called me amazing.
